Hey! July is coming and it’s time to Make Archery Great!
It will be the greatest and bestest online Manchu event in the world. I promise.
IMNAA is calling on Manchu archers worldwide to submit their heavy bow draw videos and help build the first global survey of Manchu draw weights. (Our email: manchuarcheryassociation@gmail.com and Instagram: international_manchu_archery)
Short, simple, and powerful — just like a good draw.
🎥 How to Participate
Submit one video + one full‑draw photo by July 31, 11:59 PM EST.
Your video must include three draws:
- Draw 1 & 2: Standard draws with your best form
- Draw 3: Standard or unique (Parthian draw, opposite‑hand draw, twist, squat — or simply another perfect standard draw)
- Your may draw with three fingers for heavy bow drawing. You don’t need to shoot the bow. But you may gain bonus for performance if being able to shoot the heavy bow with good form.

🌏 Why It Matters
Manchu archery is one of the few traditions that still values heavy bows, long draws, and thumb‑ring technique. Heavy Draw July helps us document this practice, celebrate the global community, and keep the tradition alive.
